Disc Replacement ­ 6 years later – Thank you.

Dear Dr. Rischke,

It has been a long time since you performed the dual disc replacement surgery on me in Berlin on September 23, 2008. I was just recalling to my wife how horrible I felt before the operation and the dismal outlook we had on my potential future.
Since the operation, a lot has changed. I am now a passionate surfer and I spent 3-4 time per week in the ocean chasing waves before heading into work (I’ve attached a fun photo of me). I would have never imagined this possible, and I am lucky to be able to do this because of you.
We rarely spend the time to thank those people who have changed our lives for the better, and I can say that you have certainly done that, so Thank You! You have truly made me a better man and I will be eternally grateful.
